Ranikhet express is the train that travels to Nainital and leaves the railway station at old Delhi at around 2230 hours.

Best time to visit Nainital:


The best time to visit the city of Nainital is during the months from march to June , from the month of September and continuing up to November and finally between the months of December and January.


Places to visit in Nainital:


Naina Devi temple: it is a famous religious place in naintal and is especially worth visiting for people seeking spirituality. The prayers of the devotees are offered to goddess naina.


Naini Lake: it is a water pool which is surrounded by seven mountains. The high mountain peaks provide a breathtaking view for the visitors.


The Mall road: it acts as a union point between Mallital and Tallital. It is one of the busiest places located in nainital at present. The government has renamed the mall road as Govind Bailabh Pant Marg.


The Flatts: it is located towards the northern end and touches the lake. It is built in honour of about 151 people who died during the landslip that occurred here in the year 1880.


Governer’s house: it was constructed in the year 1899 by F.W Stevens. It is also known as the raj bhawan.
Cave garden: it is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nainital and is situated in Sukhatal, which is located at a distance of 1 kilometre from Malital.
