Chandigarh has so many wonderful places to visit. Following are the main of those-

Rose Garden:- it is situated in sector 16. It is spread in the 30 acres and more than 1500 breeds of roses can be seen here. This is the largest rose garden in the whole Asia. Every February two days rose festival is celebrated here.

Rock garden:- famous craftsperson Nekchand has made many idols, dolls, and animals with the help of stones and other wastes of the daily use like broken plates and bangles, paperweights etc. the garden is very vast and spread in 12 acres.

Museum:- it is situated in sector 10. Very rare and important drawings and idols are put here. The work of Mughal, Rajasthani and kangda style is worth seen.

Survana lake:- though it is a manmade lake yet people come and spend hours here. Boats are available here, by which one can enjoy boating and fishing here after taking permission from the related officer.

Panchkula:- this city is situated on the bank of river Ghaggar nearby Chandigarh. There is another beautiful place named Ramgarh nearby panchkula. Here is a fun city which is laced with so many contemporary means of entertainment.

Chattbid Zoo:- it is situated 20 kilometers away of Chandigarh on the way from Chandigarh to Patiala. Visiting this zoo is more adventures as compared to others as lions, beers, tigers and other dangerous animals are not kept in the cage but they wander freely. You will see walking among them in the buses which are covered by strong iron grills. Special buses from Chandigarh are available to visit this place.

Pinjaur:-21 kms away of Chandigarh and 8 kms away of Kalka Railway Station this beautiful place is situated on the bank of river Kaushlya. The place was known as Panchpura in the mughal period. The yadvendra garden here is one of the most beautiful remaining mughal gardens.

Morni hills:- this is a very beautiful tourist house situated at the height of 3000 ft. the natural beauty of the valley looks awesome from here.
